Each of us plays a unique instrument

We each play a unique instrument in the orchestra of life. If we play our part without regard for the conductor´s direction or the rest of the orchestra, then we have total chaos. If we try to take our cues only from those around us, it will be impossible to achieve harmony. However, if we watch the conductor (our intuition) and follow its direction, we can experience the joy of playing our unique part, and at the same time experience ourselves as part of a greater, harmonious whole.

It takes Practice

We need to reeducate ourselves to listen to and trust the inner truths that come to us through our intuitive feelings. We must learn to act on them, even though it may feel risky and frightening at first, because we are no longer playing it safe, doing what we ¨should¨ do, pleasing others, following rules, or deferring to outside authority.
Learning to trust our intuition is an art form, and like all other art forms, it takes practice to perfect. We have to be willing to make ¨mistakes,¨ to try something and fail, and then try something different the next time. If we hold back out of fear of being wrong, learning to trust our intuition could take a lifetime.
