Observe Your Inner Dialogue

Anyone who has practiced meditation knows how difficult it can be to quiet our ¨mind talk¨ in order to connect with our deeper, wise, intuitive mind. One traditional meditation practice is to simply observe the inner dialogue as objectively as possible. This is a valuable experience that allows you to become aware of the types of thoughts you habitually think. Many of these thoughts come from programming we picked up long ago, which is still influencing us. Once we recognize these thought patterns, we can begin to change old habits. We can tell the difference between the limiting, habitual mind talk and the voice of our inner guidance.

A source deep within

As we explore the process of creating our own reality, we begin to realize that the creative power we are feeling is coming from some source other than our personality. It seems to come from some other place deep within ourselves. We become interested in discovering what this creative force is and how it works. We realize the “it” (our higher self) knows more than “I¨ (our personality self). We find out what the inner guidance is telling us and follow it.

Everything is unfolding perfectly

You will find in using creative visualization that your ability to manifest will work to the degree that you are in alignment with your higher purpose. If you try to manifest something and it doesn’t seem to work, it may not be appropriate to the underlying pattern and meaning of your life. Be patient and keep tuning into your inner guidance. Our relationships are channels

I move toward people I love because I want the intensification I experience with them. I feel the universe moving through me to them and moving through them to me. This may happen by just being together, talking, or touching. The intuitive energy itself lets me know what is appropriate. It’s mutually satisfying and fulfilling because the universe is giving to each through the channel of the other. If I trust my own energy, each person in the interaction receives what they need.

Exploring our fantasies

At times fantasies can tell us how we really want to be expressing ourselves. We sometimes have a strong sense of what we would like to do, yet we take up a very different career. We feel we need a career that is more practical or will gain the approval of our parents or the world.

In the past we have felt it was impossible to do what we really wanted. We are now seeing that when we do what we really want we gain our own approval. We experience our own vitality and freedom. Today we can risk exploring things that really turn us on.
