We can reprogram our concepts

If we find that we are responding to our world in a way that is harmful or limiting, we can reprogram our old concepts and ideas about ourselves and about life. Because of the way the body and mind work together, and the constant mutual communication between them (the body registering information about the physical universe, transmitting it to the mind; the mind interpreting the meaning according to our experience and belief system, then sending appropriate messages back to the body), we are able to explore and release old beliefs that do not serve us. We can create, affirm, and visualize new beliefs that will serve us well.
