Move into the world
Our eastern and western spiritual traditions have involved some degree of renunciation of the world. Relationships, money, material possessions, pleasures, and luxuries have been seen as temptations that draw us away from our spiritual development.
Those of us who choose to be spiritual seekers and transformers must now move into the world with the same degree of commitment to our spiritual selves as we would have if we had renounced the world. This path is much more difficult!
I stay deeply connected to myself as I live fully in the world.
