We are beginning to be more open and natural about our bodies and sexual energy. Because of our old conditioning, however, many of us still believe on a deep level that our sexual energy is a dangerous force. We distrust ourselves.

In fact, our sexual energy comes from the same universal source as all other energy. It is the expression of that energy that confuses us. We either exaggerate it or shut it off, fearing that we won’t get what we need or that we’ll lose what we already have. Sexual energy itself is innocent. It is merely one way in which universal energy moves through us and draws us to the experiences we need for our learning, healing, and enjoyment.
